German Documentary of Rungus Tribe in Sabah in 1960′s [Video]

Sabah’s multi-cultural and rich heritage have been attracting people from all over the world since its early days. Watch this German video documentary of Rungus Tribe shot in Sabah in 1960′s.

This German documentary was uploaded to YouTube by Mr Rhoodie George early this year. Unfortunately it’s in German and there are no subtitles of what being narrated in the video. Since it was already more than 50 years old and probably it has been re-recorded onto various tapes, the quality is quite poor but still watchable.

It appears the video was shot in Tinangol, Kudat and it shows the traditional daily lives of the Rungus Tribe.

Towards the end of the video, you can see some scenes of the local town and tamu, which was probably in Kudat too.

Special thanks to Mr George for uploading this video to YouTube. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel here.
