The concept of social enterprise is still relatively new in Malaysia. Please spend a minute or two and learn more about Social Enterprise and the SEHATI program to be organised by Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) that’s happening in KK this weekend.

What is Social Enterprise?

“Social enterprises are businesses that trade to tackle social problems, improving communities, people’s life chances, or the environment. They make their money from selling goods and services in the open market, but they reinvest their profits back into the business or the local community. When they profit, society profits.” – Social Enterprise UK

We believe that people like you can be part of the solution to local social and environmental problems that we face. We’ve seen social enterprises solve some of the world’s most pressing social issues such as poverty, access to clean water and unemployment.

There is still work to do and we want you to join us and be part of the solution!
